Data annotation jobs

Data annotation and data labeling jobs — entry level, remote, paid per unit

trainee.digital pays per labeled unit, not per application. Pass one free quality review, earn $5, and the full order feed unlocks — including work you can start with no prior annotation experience.

What the work pays right now

Rates are set by the client who posted the order and change as orders come and go. Live list: /orders

Your earnings are units × the order rate. There is no hourly wage and no guaranteed volume: you take the units you want from open orders, and how much you make depends on which orders are open and how fast you work accurately.

The quality review: what is actually checked

Access to paid orders is gated by one free assessment task, not by a CV. You label a 50-unit sample once — one attempt, no cost — and a human reviewer scores it.

Passing score: 70. Reviewed by a person, not an automated similarity check.

Guideline complianceOnly the provided label set is used; ambiguous cases are flagged with a note instead of guessed.Pass / fail
  • Result arrives in 24–48 hours after you submit.
  • Pass the quality review and $5 is credited to your balance, plus the $5 welcome credit from signup — $10 total on a passing account.
  • Passing also unlocks the full order feed, including premium orders that are visible but locked before vetting.
  • Fail and nothing is charged to you; the account simply stays unvetted.

Getting paid

  • Balance builds from approved work plus the $5 welcome credit and the $5 assessment credit.
  • Minimum withdrawal is $100. Below that the balance stays on the account.
  • Withdrawal is a request: you submit your payout details from the dashboard and we process it manually.
  • Client-side approval gates order payments: funds release when the client approves the delivered batch.
  • No fees are charged to performers — we do not sell courses, tools or \u201cpriority access\u201d.

FAQ from applicants

Do I need experience or a CV?

No. Access is decided by the assessment task, not by a résumé. Entry-level orders exist alongside specialist ones.

How long does the review take?

24–48 hours after you submit the sample.

Can I retry if I fail?

The assessment is one attempt. Nothing is charged if you fail; the account stays unvetted.

What equipment do I need?

A computer with a stable internet connection and a browser. Annotation runs in the browser.

Is this employment?

No. You take orders as an independent performer; there is no fixed salary or schedule.

Do you charge anything to start?

No. The assessment is free and there are no fees for performers.
